*RETAIL - Thalictrum occidentale

A western native, this meadow rue features deciduous leaves of finely divided, fern-like foliage from a central rosette. In early summer, flower stalks to 3' emerge; in male plants flowers feature 4 greenish sepals with dangling stamens of light purple, reminiscent of an old lampshade. For shade to part sun, in moist, rich soil, forming colonies when happy.  USDA zone 4.
