*RETAIL - Ceanothus 'Frosty Blue'

A classic selection of California lilac introduced by Rancho Santa Ana in the 1970's. Popular as a screen or hedge plant due to its rapid upright growth habit 10-12ft tall with a similar spread. Can be trained as a small tree for the summer dry garden. Glossy green evergreen leaves and frosted blue flowers in late spring to summer. Full sun and lean summer-dry conditions, more tolerant of heavy soils than many. USDA zone 8.
