Small evergreen foliage over ruddy brown bark, is excellent as a low hedge or foundation planting. Pale pink bell flowers in late winter are great forage for native pollinators. Accepting of some summer water provided sharp drainage. Full sun to partial shade (afternoon shade best in hot inland climates.) USDA zone 8
