Pelargonium peltatum

Unique species Pelargonium from South Africa. The leaves are flattened and waxy and quite succulent. Flowers are single and narrow, with magenta markings atop light magenta petals. A trailing plant, P. peltatum scrambles around on flat surfaces and cascades over the edges of pots or rockeries. Grows up to 2ft high x 3ft wide. Full sun to part sun. Hardy to USDA zone 9b Treat as an annual or use in a container that can be pulled in during freezing spells.
