Adiantum aleuticum var. subpumilum

This Haida Guay (Queen Charlotte Islands) deciduous native grows to a fraction of the size of A. aleuticum remaining under 6 inches in height with attractive tufted fronds. As one might expect, it enjoys dappled sun, consistently moist soil but not saturated. Wonderful trough specimen. USDA zone 4
